Robotics Integration Specialist

About the role

Sunrise Robotics is looking for a Robotics Integration Specialist to own the physical build and operational readiness of every robotic cell in its R&D environment. You will work hands‑on in the lab, ensuring that each cell is assembled, wired, tested and documented to a high standard before it reaches customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build, wire and integrate all robotic cells from initial assembly to fully functional, documented state.
• Coordinate lab and remote work, manage the lab calendar and keep cells available for engineers.
• Test and validate new peripherals, sensors and hardware subsystems.
• Support remote engineers with hands‑on diagnostics and physical tasks.
• Prepare each cell for customer delivery, validating configuration and quality.
• Maintain tooling, test rigs, safety infrastructure and workshop resources.
• Document every R&D cell’s configuration, status and history.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in robotics, automation or hardware development.
• Strong mechanical and electrical capability, comfortable with wiring and diagnosing hardware issues.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple work streams independently.
• Clear communicator who can translate physical realities for remote teams.
