Project Manager – GRP Manufacturing & Engineering

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination and execution of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) manufacturing and engineering projects. Acting as the main liaison between customers, engineering, production, procurement, quality control and site teams, the role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage GRP projects from award through delivery and close‑out.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for schedules and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, production, procurement, quality, logistics and site supervision.
• Monitor progress, ensure contractual and technical compliance, and manage risks.
• Handle project documentation, change orders and correspondence.
• Oversee procurement and supplier performance related to project needs.
• Lead project meetings with internal teams, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track costs, variations and financial performance against approved budgets.
• Support contract administration and ensure adherence to HSE policies and regulations.
• Prepare status reports, KPI tracking and management presentations.
• Facilitate commissioning, testing, handover and final acceptance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project execution processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Project Management or related field.
• Proven experience managing projects in industrial manufacturing, engineering or construction environments.
• Good understanding of GRP products, manufacturing processes and related engineering projects.
• Strong planning, organisational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP or dedicated project‑management systems.
