Product Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking a Product Manager to join a fast‑growing European renewable‑energy start‑up that is expanding across Eastern Europe. Based in Slovenia, you will lead the development and market positioning of innovative solar, battery storage, EV charging and smart energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for renewable‑energy offerings.
• Gather market, customer and partner requirements and translate them into clear product specifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launches.
• Support product positioning, pricing and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Provide technical product training and support to internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product‑focused role within the renewable‑energy sector.
• Strong understanding of solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and EV charging technologies.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Slovenia and occasionally across Europe.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
