Platform Engineer

About the role

Join Sportradar’s engineering enablement team to build internal platforms that simplify developer workflows and improve reliability. You will work on an Internal Developer Platform, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and scale resilient infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, secure delivery.
• Develop reusable frameworks that reduce friction in deploying, running, and monitoring services.
• Mentor peers, shape engineering standards, and modernise outdated processes.
• Drive automation initiatives to minimise manual tasks and ensure consistency across applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather feedback and continuously evolve platform tooling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in software engineering and production‑grade systems.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Passion for automation and building developer‑centric platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional squads.
