Plant Logistics Manager

About the role

An experienced, hands-on professional is sought to manage logistics operations at a manufacturing site. The role covers coordinating daily logistics, leading the team and making sure materials arrive on time so that warehouse operations run smoothly. The person should understand the demands of a production environment, organise work well and spot practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate logistics operations at the manufacturing site.
• Ensure timely supply of materials to production and a smooth flow of materials.
• Oversee warehouse operations, internal logistics, transportation and dispatch of finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and keep stock and inventory records accurate.
• Lead and organise the logistics team, supporting employee development and day-to-day performance.
• Monitor KPIs, logistics costs and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Planning and other departments.
• Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience managing logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading a team and organising daily work.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and material flows.
• Strong organisational skills, a responsible and independent approach, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience working with ERP systems
