Operations Specialist – Europe (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Operations Specialist supports seamless execution of regional tour operations across multiple brands and destinations for G Adventures. This 12‑to‑18‑month fixed‑term position is remote and covers Europe, ensuring brand consistency, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain brand integrity by aligning communications and operations with brand standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manage block allocations and oversee hotel reservations.
• Monitor shared email inboxes, address actions promptly, and coordinate last‑minute changes with the regional operations team.
• Process supplier invoices, validate against budgets, and prepare performance and financial metrics for management.
• Participate in emergency phone support rotation and assist with local office maintenance as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in the tourism or travel industry.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can remain calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
• Experience with booking platforms, shared inboxes and internal reservation or supplier systems.
