Onsite IT Support – Field Service in Ljubljana

About the role

D-ploy is seeking an onsite IT Support professional to deliver timely technical assistance to clients in Ljubljana. You will work directly at customer sites, handling hardware, software and network issues while providing excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software and networking problems.
• Install, configure and maintain computer systems, applications and network equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues to minimise client downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Perform routine maintenance, system updates and hardware upgrades.
• Deliver training and guidance to clients on hardware and software usage.
• Collaborate with remote support teams to resolve complex problems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably field service.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
• Fluency in Slovenian and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to lift and carry computer equipment and perform physical tasks.
• Clean criminal record not older than three months.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of macOS operating systems.
• Understanding of networking protocols and common software applications.
