Material Planner (m/f/d) – Production Supply

About the role

As a Material Planner you will guarantee the timely supply of materials for production, optimise inventory levels and control costs. You will act as a key link between the production sites and suppliers, supporting strategic sourcing and smooth operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure material availability according to the approved site production plan.
• Monitor and validate the material demand flow from sites to the hub.
• Perform daily MRP oversight for all BOM material requirements and review purchase orders.
• Create purchase orders, submit them to suppliers and track execution with carriers, forwarding agencies and insurers.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation archives.
• Own MRP‑relevant data and technical specifications in the ERP system.
• Communicate closely with site planners, hub associates and other internal stakeholders.
• Participate in regular cross‑functional meetings.
• Support inventory‑reduction projects such as lead‑time reduction, JIT, consignment stock and VMI.

Required profile

• Higher degree in a technical, economics or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning or purchasing.
• Fluent spoken and written English; German is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Required skills

• ERP system (MRP) usage.
• Microsoft Office suite.

What we offer

• Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia.
• Fixed‑term contract (1 year) with possible extension.
• 40 hours per week.
• Annual gross salary range €27,200 – €40,800.
• Annual bonus, vacation allowance, Christmas bonus and share‑based incentives.
• Company‑covered supplementary pension contribution (5.844 % of gross salary).
• Shift allowances where applicable and remote‑work allowance.
