Machinist / Toolmaker (m/f)

About the role

A manufacturer in Štore, Slovenia, is looking for a machinist who designs tools and prepares them for production. The work involves designing parts in SolidWorks, checking casting dimensions against customer requirements and recording machine operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design tools and draw the final product according to customer requirements using SolidWorks
• Check that castings meet customer dimensional requirements
• Create 3D part drawings from customer scans of samples (reverse engineering)
• Keep tools and models ready for production and storage
• Enter data on completed operations into the information system and keep other required records
• Monitor equipment operation and inform responsible people about deviations

Required profile

• At least level V education and 36 months of work experience
• English at B1 level
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office
• Category B driving licence
• Good communication, accuracy, neatness and sense of order
