Lead Data Migration & Integration Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Migration & Integration Expert to join a UK‑based Microsoft Partner that serves the non‑profit sector. Working remotely from Slovenia with occasional office visits, you will be part of a 20‑person development team and drive data migration, integration, and business intelligence initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage data migration projects from sources such as SQL, Oracle and Excel to Microsoft Dataverse.
• Develop migration strategies that ensure data integrity, accuracy and security.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimise processes for efficiency.
• Act as the in‑house expert on Microsoft Dataverse, providing guidance and best‑practice advice.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, leveraging Microsoft Fabric for advanced data modelling.
• Implement data integration solutions using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps to ensure seamless data flow.
• Automate workflows to improve operational efficiency and maintain data consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with IT, business analysts and end‑users, delivering training and documenting procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning and executing data migrations to Microsoft Dataverse.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Fabric).
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
