International Trade Analyst (m/f/d)

About the role

Novartis is seeking an International Trade Analyst to support the efficient movement of materials and products across global markets. You will work with colleagues from multiple regions, applying customs and trade‑compliance expertise to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate customs classification of materials worldwide and determine country of origin.
• Manage post‑entry import and export declaration checks.
• Collect, analyse and submit trade‑compliance KPIs to the Global Customs and Trade Compliance function.
• Advise business partners on customs classification and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and present reports on customs and trade‑compliance matters.
• Identify and escalate compliance risks to management and global teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international trade, customs or trade‑compliance.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
