Fleet Infrastructure & Security Engineer

About the role

Sunrise Robotics is looking for a Fleet Infrastructure & Security Engineer to ensure that its intelligent robots can be deployed, updated and supported reliably at scale. You will be responsible for building consistent, secure, and automated environments that enable the engineering team to ship robot cells without friction.

Key responsibilities

• Automate deployment workflows for robot cell rollouts, reducing manual setup and recurring operational issues.
• Containerise and stabilise the robotics software stack to provide reproducible environments across development, cloud, and production.
• Standardise and manage Linux and Windows systems, establishing repeatable configuration and provisioning practices.
• Provision, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including identity management (SSO, SSH) and reliability procedures.
• Configure and manage networking components such as VPNs and secure remote access.
• Own endpoint security, system hardening, and monitoring/alerting systems, leading incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Prioritise and resolve infrastructure issues through clear communication and thorough documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale infrastructure for complex engineering environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident investigation skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
