Financial Reporting Professional – Slovenia

About the role

As a Financial Reporting Professional you will oversee all financial aspects of the RHI Magnesita entity in Slovenia. You will ensure accurate legal entity reporting in line with local statutory requirements and group accounting standards (IAS/IFRS), and act as the link between the shared service centre, corporate functions and external parties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting packages and statutory annual accounts.
• Co‑operate with and supervise the shared services centre.
• Collaborate closely with auditors and other external partners.
• Approve payroll and supplier invoice payments.
• Ensure compliance with RHI Magnesita’s internal control procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Open‑minded, communicative team player with a flexible, deadline‑driven approach and ability to work independently.
• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting and financial reporting, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IAS/IFRS).
• Fluent in Slovenian and English.
