Drug Supply Management Expert (Hybrid)

About the role

Novartis is opening a new clinical manufacturing facility in Slovenia to speed up the development of innovative medicines. As an Expert in Drug Supply Management you will join the Drug Product Clinical Manufacturing Team at the Technical Research and Development site in Mengeš, Slovenia, and be primarily responsible for the clinical manufacturing plant. The position is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the material management process for clinical manufacturing, including preparing material specifications, coordinating the MARF template, supporting GLIMS CAD and incoming goods inspection and release.
• Monitor supplier qualification and vendor management, and track material status in SAP.
• Lead deviation and root cause investigations in clinical manufacturing related to materials, and support business continuity by assessing and supporting alternative vendors.
• Help create the SOP landscape within NVS and implement SOPs according to clinical drug product manufacturing requirements.
• Onboard and mentor associates in drug supply, and provide technical expertise during regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with Quality Assurance and vendors.

Required profile

• 3 years of experience in supply organizations, with thorough knowledge of GMP requirements.
• Ability to work in a team and in a matrix environment, influencing without authority.
• Results-driven, accountable and quality-focused, with attention to ethical and legal principles.

What we offer

• Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period; expected annual base salary range €27,160 to €50,440.
