DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain our advanced digital health platform, which supports over 30 million patients worldwide. You will work across interdisciplinary teams to design, automate, and optimise our cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Implement development, testing and automation tools, as well as IT infrastructure.
• Maintain Better’s virtualised infrastructure (VMware/Azure) and development servers (git, CI), ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability.
• Work with product teams to develop automated product deployments, updates and identify production issues.
• Manage Better private cloud and domain servers, including data backup management.
• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
• Ensure information security by applying standards and best practices.
• Develop monitoring solutions and dashboards.
• Assist with software upgrades and investigate technical issues.

Required profile

• Work experience as a Sysadmin/DevOps engineer or similar software engineering role.
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies and providers (Azure is a plus).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Go.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
