Customs Declarant (m/f)

About the role

UPS, one of the world's largest package delivery companies, is looking for a customs declarant in Slovenia. The role covers customs representation for UPS business, working with companies and individuals during customs inspections or inspections carried out by inspection services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare documents for customs procedures, import and export clearance
• Work in line with the laws and regulations of UPS Adria (S) Ekspres d.o.o.
• Take part in customs inspections of goods and inspections by inspection services
• Keep records, prepare reports and make calculations
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Secondary education
• Desired qualification in customs representation
• Active knowledge of English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adaptability, motivation and teamwork
• Category B driving licence and certificate of good conduct

Required skills

• Excellent command of computer tools (MS Office)
