Customs Declarant

About the role

UPS, a global package delivery and logistics company operating in more than 200 countries, is looking for a customs declarant (m/f) to represent its business in customs matters. The role involves working with companies and individuals during customs inspections or inspections carried out by inspection services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare documents for customs procedures, import or export clearance
• Work in line with the laws and permits of UPS Adria (S) Ekspres d.o.o.
• Take part in customs inspections of goods and inspections by inspection services
• Keep records, prepare reports and make calculations
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Secondary education
• Desired qualification for representing a business in customs matters
• Active knowledge of English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adaptability, motivation and teamwork
• Driving licence category B and a certificate of good conduct

Required skills

• Excellent command of computer tools (MS Office)
• Import/export customs clearance
