Collections Specialist (Slovene language)

About the role

Join the team as a Collections Specialist responsible for independently managing a moderately complex accounts receivable portfolio, accelerating cash flow and safeguarding customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of higher‑risk accounts, applying tailored collection strategies and escalation thresholds.
• Investigate and resolve delinquency drivers such as billing errors, contract misalignments, missing proof of delivery, and dispute volume.
• Manage escalations, negotiate payment plans, and coordinate with Billing, Disputes, Cash Application, Sales and Operations to remove payment blockers.
• Track and report portfolio KPIs (aging, DSO, promise‑to‑pay attainment) and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Coach junior analysts on best practices and contribute to collection playbooks.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in finance customer service, collections, or order‑to‑cash processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on cash‑flow impact.
• Ability to work independently, manage escalations and communicate professionally in English and Slovene (minimum B2).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/AR systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
