Chief Marketing Officer

About the role

MeetMinded is a fast‑growing startup that turns strangers into friends through local meetups worldwide. As Chief Marketing Officer you will lead a €1M+ monthly advertising budget and transform marketing into a powerful growth engine.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full marketing strategy across acquisition, retention, paid, organic, performance and brand.
• Define brand positioning and tone of voice for multiple apps targeting different audiences.
• Oversee existing channels (Meta, Google Ads, email) and identify new growth opportunities.
• Test and scale new channels such as TikTok Ads, UGC, SEO/AEO and innovative creative formats.
• Manage a €1M+ monthly ad spend while meeting key performance targets.
• Build a multi‑channel growth engine from a largely single‑channel setup.
• Lead, build and coach a high‑performing marketing team, ensuring brand compliance.
• Implement data‑driven decision making across all marketing activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience scaling performance marketing with significant spend.
• Strong understanding of paid acquisition, growth and marketing analytics.
• Experience across multiple acquisition channels.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with high ownership.
• Track record of leading high‑performing teams.
• Comfortable in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strategic thinker willing to dive into details.
• AI‑first approach.
• Willingness to work onsite in Ljubljana.
