CBRN Specialist – AI Content Reviewer

About the role

This remote, hourly contractor position focuses on reviewing and creating AI‑generated content related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) safety. You will ensure that AI responses are technically accurate, safe, and aligned with public‑safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated answers on CBRN topics for technical correctness, safety framing, and guideline compliance.
• Flag outputs that provide dangerous procedural detail, weaponization support, or other misuse‑enabling information.
• Create gold‑standard reference examples that answer benign CBRN questions responsibly.
• Detect hallucinated claims, incorrect hazard classifications, and overconfident conclusions.
• Provide clear written feedback explaining why content is safe, unsafe, incomplete, or technically incorrect.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific or safety discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and strong written communication skills.
• 3+ years of professional experience in CBRN safety, emergency preparedness, hazardous‑materials handling, biosafety, radiation safety, public health, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazard categories, risk assessment, protective measures, and public‑safety communication.
• Ability to identify unsafe instructions, operationally enabling details, and inaccurate technical claims.
• Familiarity with safety frameworks, emergency‑response concepts, biosafety levels, hazardous‑material communication, radiation protection, and decontamination procedures (preferred).
• High attention to detail, reliable self‑direction, and capacity to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly workflow.
