Business Development Manager – IBM Software & Hardware

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive the growth of IBM hardware and software solutions in Slovenia. The role collaborates closely with IBM, channel partners and internal Arrow teams to build profitable relationships and guide partners through the full solution lifecycle, from selection to end‑customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a portfolio of profitable channel partners for IBM solutions.
• Build and nurture new partner relationships, supporting them throughout the IBM solution lifecycle.
• Assist partners in product selection, offer preparation and execution of sales plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Track sales performance, manage partner programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on IT market trends, competitor activities and the IBM roadmap.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or partner/channel management experience (IT background a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware or software solutions.
• Results‑driven, proactive and business‑savvy mindset.
• Fluent in Slovenian and English (B2/C1 level).
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
