Associate Expert Drug Supply (m/f/d)

About the role

Novartis is opening a new clinical manufacturing facility in Slovenia at Biocampus Mengeš, dedicated to developing innovative medicines for patients worldwide. As an Associate Expert Drug Supply you will join the Manufacturing Operations team and execute the production of biological active substances, including solution preparation, bioreactor operation and chromatography systems, in line with internal procedures and GxP requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the production process of biological active substances, including in-process analytics
• Plan, perform and document GxP activities, and complete GxP documentation such as logs, forms and production reports, including source data review
• Write simple procedures, protocols and reports, such as work procedures and trend reports
• Participate in troubleshooting, identify and report deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Act according to quality, ethics, safety, health, environment and information security standards and ensure GxP compliance
• Take responsibility for personal and professional development and show a positive work ethic

Required profile

• High school education
• Fluent Slovenian and technical English
• Good organisational and documentation skills, accurate following of instructions
• Desired: experience in a comparable role, natural sciences background, good knowledge of GMP and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of software and computer tools
• GxP and GMP awareness

• Expected annual base salary of EUR 20,300 to 37,700, with a possible performance-based bonus
