Associate AFFERA™ Mapping Specialist CAS

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Associate AFFERA™ Mapping Specialist to provide expert clinical and technical support for the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System in electrophysiology labs. The role involves training physicians and EP lab staff, supporting system installation, and contributing to advanced workflow development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical assistance on the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System, including generators, software functionalities, pumps and accessories.
• Deliver in‑service training to hospital stakeholders to ensure technology acceptance.
• Participate in the development of advanced clinical workflows and share best practices.
• Plan and support the installation of the system, collaborating closely with the technical department.
• Work with the education team to develop training centres and support territory reviews with the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Engineer’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or related scientific discipline.
• Clinical electrophysiology experience or experience in the medical device/life‑sciences industry.
• Ability to work in electrophysiology labs and obtain vendor credentialing.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
• Fluency in English and Slovenian and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment.
• Knowledge of generators, software functionalities, pumps and accessories used in EP procedures.
• Experience delivering technical training and supporting system installation.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and high responsiveness to customers and stakeholders.
