Account Executive - Ljubljana

About the role

As an Account Executive at Booking.com in Ljubljana, you support new and existing accommodation partners by advising them on how to meet visitor demand on the Booking.com website. You build accommodation webpages, train partners on the Booking.com extranet and the systems that improve availability and supply, and support the Account Managers with office tasks. The role is hybrid, with 40% of the week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with partners in the region by telephone and internal messaging to help develop Booking.com's business.
• Own a portfolio of partners as the first point of contact, answering questions and following up when needed.
• Maintain stable relationships with partners through regular performance calls, ensuring good availability and competitive pricing.
• Explain Booking.com's products and their benefits to partners.
• Use internal segmentation to identify opportunities for partners and to identify new potential partner leads.
• Handle escalations related to the managed portfolio and resolve them efficiently.
• Support the organisation of partner events such as workshops and webinars, and attend events for the managed portfolio.

Required profile

• 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• English and Slovenian, written and spoken.
• Solution-oriented, results-driven, proactive and able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence partners by phone.
• Analytical eye for accuracy and the ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently.
