Supervisor - Accounting & Tax

About the role

As an Accounting & Tax Supervisor at TMF Group, you will deliver world‑class accounting and tax services to clients in Slovenia, overseeing end‑to‑end bookkeeping and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and tax filings (income tax, VAT).
• Prepare reports for the National Bank of Slovenia and internal management.
• Review and reconcile the general ledger and oversee payment transactions.
• Supervise, train and coordinate junior team members, providing feedback and guidance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in a multinational or service environment.
• Deep knowledge of Slovenian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Analytical, methodical and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and partners.
• Proactive, open‑minded attitude with problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
