Senior Manager, Procurement Europe (PHEX)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Procurement Europe leads the procurement strategy for the Plate Heat Exchangers (PHEX) Business Unit across Europe. You will head a team of 6 procurement professionals and build an export-ready supplier base, driving sourcing excellence and a resilient supplier network that supports regional operations and global growth. The role works closely with Operations, R&D, Supplier Quality and Product Management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of procurement professionals, develop their capabilities and drive engagement.
• Develop and execute European sourcing strategies aligned with global objectives, and contribute to global sourcing strategies, leading selected global categories where required.
• Build and strengthen the supplier network, managing qualification, performance, risk mitigation and long-term development.
• Drive commercial negotiations and cost improvement programs through strategic sourcing, value engineering and supplier collaboration.
• Support industrial processes such as APQP and PPAP.
• Partner with Operations, R&D, Supplier Quality and Product Management to improve supply chain performance and accelerate innovation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of people leadership experience, with a track record of developing teams and managing performance.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• 6-10 years of procurement experience in industrial manufacturing, engineered products, mechanical components or a comparable technical environment.
• Experience in a cross-functional and international environment, able to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Fluent English with strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
