Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

HYCU is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure that powers its R‑Cloud platform, supporting backend, data, search, and AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture for multi‑tenant SaaS services.
• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and reusable deployment patterns.
• Automate provisioning of development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment frequency and reliability.
• Implement observability across applications and infrastructure (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, dashboards).
• Enforce infrastructure security, secrets management, and least‑privilege IAM.
• Establish backup, recovery, and production‑readiness practices and participate in incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.
• Drive cost optimisation while maintaining reliability and performance.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience delivering multi‑tenant enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or equivalents.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, service discovery, storage and IAM.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of production reliability patterns (high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, autoscaling).
• Ability to script and automate tasks in Python, Bash or similar languages.
• Experience with infrastructure security, vulnerability scanning, RBAC and least‑privilege principles.
