Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our AI‑forward accounting team at Qualio. Reporting to the Controller, you will own major accounting functions and help embed artificial‑intelligence tools into our finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations for the monthly close.
• Record transactions in Rillet and manage accounts payable, corporate cards and employee reimbursements using Ramp.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and handle billing and subscription management in Maxio.
• Leverage AI to streamline workflows, improve efficiency and generate analytical insights.
• Document core accounting processes and support audit requests.
• Bill customers, manage collections and assist with ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high‑growth SaaS startup.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue standards.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
• Excellent deadline management and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Rillet, Ramp and Maxio accounting platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
• Experience with AI tools for finance automation.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and DealHub (a plus).
