SAP BTP Developer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated SAP BTP Developer to join our Business Applications team within SteelcoBelimed. The role involves designing, developing, integrating and supporting cloud‑native applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform for our customers in the infection control and life‑science sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cloud‑native applications on SAP BTP using SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, Node.js, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori applications, launchpad content, reusable UI components and UX patterns.
• Develop, expose, consume and manage APIs, OData and REST services, and integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP services and non‑SAP systems.
• Implement integration solutions with SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh and related connectivity services.
• Configure and use SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, Build Process Automation, Build Work Zone, Identity Authentication Service and Destination service.
• Coordinate unit, integration, regression and user‑acceptance testing and produce technical documentation and hand‑over materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of professional experience in SAP BTP, SAP Cloud, SAP Fiori/UI5 or comparable SAP development roles.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, OData, REST APIs, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of SAP BTP services (SAP HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, XSUAA, Identity Authentication Service).
• Fluent English; Italian optional; German or other European languages a plus.
