Opis delovnega mesta

About the role

An eCommerce marketing agency is looking for a remote translator to turn written English copy into Slovenian while keeping its original meaning, format and tone. The work involves reading and understanding the context of each piece, using specialised dictionaries and translation tools, and proofreading finished work.

Required profile

  • Native Slovenian speaker
  • Fluent English in addition to your native language
  • Availability of at least 5-10 hours a week
  • Proven work experience as a translator, interpreter or in a similar role is a must

Required skills

  • Excellent proofreading skills, able to spot grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
  • Good knowledge of content editing tools
  • Familiarity with translation software
  • Time-management skills

What we offer

  • Payment per hour for the first 6 months, because the copies are shorter and more complex; research and brainstorming time is counted
  • Aim for a 10% pay increase in the first year
  • A team of 25+ translators that keeps growing

To apply, fill out the application form; after that the employer will contact you about a short test.
