Project Technology Engineer

About the role

As a Project Technology Engineer you will shape and improve Danfoss’s machining technologies, driving productivity, quality and operational performance across our manufacturing sites. You will translate technical expertise into practical manufacturing improvements and support the introduction of new products and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise machining processes to enhance product quality, efficiency and overall manufacturing performance.
• Program, configure and support CNC equipment using G‑code and CAM tools to ensure reliable production.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to introduce new products and manufacturing solutions.
• Analyse production and quality issues, implement corrective actions and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical documentation that enables safe, standardised and scalable manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with machining technologies such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding or threading.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and G‑code.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving, collaboration and communication skills, fluent in English and Slovenian.
