Pilates Instructor and Physical Therapist

About the role

Peti element, a preventive pain management studio, is looking for a full-time, on-site Pilates Instructor and Physical Therapist in Ljubljana. The role combines teaching Pilates with hands-on physical therapy, focusing on rehabilitation, safe movement and proper alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Pilates sessions for individuals and groups, with an emphasis on safe, effective movement and proper alignment.
• Assess clients' physical conditions and design rehabilitation-focused exercise programs.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions as appropriate.
• Teach group exercise classes and conduct one-on-one sessions.
• Monitor client progress and maintain clear documentation.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, explaining their treatment plans and encouraging consistent participation.

Required profile

• Relevant certification or degree in Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Sports Science or a related field; a recognized Pilates instructor certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, injury prevention or pain management is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Ljubljana with a consistent full-time schedule.

Required skills

• High-quality Pilates instruction and leading group exercise sessions focused on posture, mobility and functional strength.
• Physical therapy competence, including assessment, rehabilitation planning and safe implementation of therapeutic exercises.
• Strong teaching and coaching skills, able to explain movement concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
• Solid customer service skills, including active listening, empathy and building trusting relationships.
• Collaboration with colleagues, accurate record keeping and adherence to clinic and safety protocols.
