Operations Manager – Data & Analytics (ZCAM)

About the role

Zurich is seeking a motivated Operations Manager to join the ZCAM (Zurich Customer Active Management) unit. You will be part of an agile delivery team that powers data‑driven decisions and advances the data and analytics capabilities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end production operations for all live claims and automation solutions, ensuring service stability, SLA/OLA compliance and availability targets.
• Plan, allocate and manage the capacity of the RUN team, coordinating internal staff and external partners for BAU, incident response, peak periods and maintenance windows.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and problem management to deliver sustainable fixes and reduce repeat incidents.
• Define, monitor and report on SLAs, OLAs and KPIs, driving corrective actions when performance risks arise.
• Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies, improve MTTR, availability and operational cost.
• Champion the adoption of Agentic AI and intelligent automation, including self‑healing mechanisms, automated monitoring, intelligent incident triage and predictive maintenance.
• Own the RUN operational budget, ensure cost transparency and drive optimisation through automation and vendor consolidation.
• Maintain compliance with Zurich’s IT governance, change management, security and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing production operations for data‑centric solutions.
• Strong incident response and problem‑management capabilities.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate internal and external resources.
• Experience budgeting and cost‑optimisation in an operational environment.
• Familiarity with IT governance, security and regulatory compliance.
