HR & Payroll Supervisor – Slovenia

About the role

As the HR & Payroll Supervisor you will deliver a world‑class payroll service to TMF Group’s clients in Slovenia, acting as a pivotal senior member of the team and ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding of new clients and monitor client requests to suggest services.
• Process payroll, income and receipts in line with regulations and deadlines.
• Handle payroll calculations for employees assigned to or from Slovenia.
• Prepare posting files, reports and payroll confirmations.
• Review and verify payroll calculations, records and reports.
• Submit payroll reports and tax returns to Slovenian authorities.
• Prepare pension fund documentation and work‑permit/posting submissions.
• Communicate with authorities and external stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with payroll, tax and social‑security legislation.
• Mentor junior HR & Payroll team members and suggest workflow improvements.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate timesheet records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of end‑to‑end payroll experience, preferably in Slovenia.
• Deep knowledge of Slovenian payroll, tax and social‑security legislation.
• Proven ability to mentor and train junior team members.
• Strong analytical, organisational and people skills.
• Good level of English and excellent computer literacy, especially Excel.
• Experience in a multinational or service‑oriented environment is an advantage.
