Google Ads Media Buyer (Remote)

About the role

A partner company representing a Growth Agency based in Slovenia is looking for a Google Ads Media Buyer to work remotely. You will own paid advertising strategies and campaign performance for direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce brands, managing Google Ads accounts end-to-end from planning and budgeting to execution, testing and optimisation. The focus is on sustainable business growth and real profitability rather than in-platform metrics, in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Google Ads accounts end-to-end, including strategy, execution, budgets and client communication
• Create and run campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping and Performance Max, and optimise shopping feeds with the feed specialist
• Run creative and copy tests, write ad copy and build structured testing frameworks
• Analyse performance beyond in-platform metrics and turn data into optimisation actions
• Monitor budgets, efficiency and profitability, and report insights to clients via Slack and meetings

Required profile

• 1-2 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, preferably for DTC eCommerce brands
• Fluent English and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independent, accountable style with a growth mindset; no specific degree required
• Located in a European time zone or able to work to EU time-zone requirements
