Electronics Development Engineer – Outdoor Robotics

About the role

PEK Automotive is seeking an Electronics Development Engineer to create and prototype hardware for autonomous outdoor robots used in agriculture, rescue and other demanding environments. You will turn concepts into working PCBs, wiring systems and diagnostic tools, and see your designs built and tested on real machines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop testing and diagnostic equipment for electronic boards and modules.
• Design wiring systems and electrical architectures for autonomous electric machines.
• Prototype electronic components and assemblies, including PCB schematic design and layout (up to 4 layers).
• Prepare manufacturing documentation for PCB and PCBA production.
• Create complete wiring harness documentation mapping connections across the machine.
• Bring‑up, test and debug first PCB prototypes.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical design and manufacturing teams throughout product development.
• Support development of next‑generation autonomous robotic vehicles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics development.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Proven experience with PCB schematic design and PCB layout.
• Hands‑on experience debugging electronic circuits and prototypes.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
