Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

As a Credit Risk Analyst I, you will be the first line of defence in our collections process, handling high‑volume, daily operational tasks. You will support a paired Credit Risk Analyst II, ensuring timely follow‑up on overdue invoices, proactive client reminders, and escalation of risk events. This role is critical in maintaining strong cash flow and accurate account visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily collections workflow: emails, reminders, callbacks, and remittance gathering.
• Act as first touchpoint with client points of contact, documenting all interactions.
• Accurately log notes, update tags, and schedule callbacks in Workbench/Zendesk.
• Escalate accounts to Credit Risk Analyst II when needed and support preparation of escalation cases.
• Maintain SLA performance across Jira, Zendesk, and Workbench queues.
• Ensure clean handovers and timely communication during PTO coverage.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience in finance, accounts receivable, or customer‑facing operations (collections experience desirable).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage high‑volume workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working in a global, fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and ability to learn new tools quickly.
