Associate AFFERA™ Mapping Specialist (CAS)

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Associate AFFERA™ Mapping Specialist to provide clinical and technical support for the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System. The role involves training physicians and EP lab staff, ensuring optimal system use, and contributing to the growth of the cardiac ablation business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and technical assistance on the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System, including generators, software functions, pumps and accessories.
• Conduct in‑service training for hospital stakeholders to promote technology adoption.
• Participate in the planning, installation and commissioning of the system, collaborating with technical teams.
• Work with the education team to develop training centres and share best practices.
• Maintain high responsiveness to customers and internal stakeholders, and contribute to territory reviews with the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Engineer’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Clinical electrophysiology experience or prior work in the medical‑device/life‑sciences industry.
• Ability to work in EP labs and obtain vendor credentialing.
• Fluency in English and Slovenian, valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
