Accounting & Tax Supervisor

About the role

As an Accounting & Tax Supervisor you will deliver world‑class accounting and tax services to TMF Group’s clients in Slovenia, handling complex tasks and ensuring statutory compliance. You will also train and supervise junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.
• Preparation of income tax and VAT returns.
• Review and clarification of the general ledger.
• Preparation of reports for the National Bank of Slovenia and internal reports.
• Processing payment transactions.
• Participating in training and coordinating junior team members.
• Keeping up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation.

Required profile

• Analytical and methodical with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of Slovenian accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle.
• Proven ability to mentor and train junior staff.
• Strong communication skills with clients, partners and colleagues.
• Good level of English and excellent computer literacy, especially Excel.
• Open‑minded, proactive and problem‑solving attitude.
