Senior QA Engineer (Web)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Web) to own the quality assurance process for business‑critical web features. The role is fully remote and involves close collaboration with product, front‑end, back‑end and architecture teams to ensure stable, high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Drive QA from technical hand‑off through production release, ensuring functionality, stability and user experience.
• Review specifications, define testing requirements, create test plans, cases and checklists.
• Execute functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross‑browser, responsive and end‑to‑end API testing.
• Validate web applications on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and mobile‑responsive environments.
• Perform API testing using REST and GraphQL, including test‑data preparation.
• Support and contribute to test automation initiatives using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Maintain test documentation, participate in peer reviews and review automation code.
• Assist production releases with smoke and regression testing, and monitor live application performance.
• Investigate defects with browser developer tools and debugging proxies.
• Track and improve QA metrics such as escaped defect rates and test coverage.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with strong web testing expertise.
• Proven ability to design comprehensive test strategies and deliver high‑quality results.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional engineering and product teams.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, international environment.
