Senior Controller

About the role

The Corporate Finance team of Gorenje is looking for a Senior Controller to join the Business Performance Management department. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the control framework that supports accurate financial reporting and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain the controlling system and related databases.
• Prepare, coordinate and monitor business plans, forecasts, budgets, actual results, financial analyses and reports.
• Collaborate on the design, rollout and upkeep of IT solutions for business data management.
• Track profitability trends across the group and oversee credit‑risk movements.

Required profile

• At least a VII‑level education in economics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and controlling principles.
• Active English language skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business data.
• Independent, accurate and proactive work style.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with BI or similar analytical tools.
