Senior Consultant - Strategy Consulting

About the role

EY Parthenon is hiring a Senior Consultant in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The team develops strategies for clients' businesses, combining rigorous analysis with practical ideas, and works across many industries. The consultant takes part in projects such as market-entry assessments, growth plans, acquisition strategies and company integrations, and leads small teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in strategic initiatives for market entry, growth and expansion, and develop and present client-focused solutions.
• Plan and run qualitative and quantitative analyses, feasibility studies and strategic recommendations.
• Apply a problem-solving approach to complex challenges in market-entry evaluations and strategic projects.
• Offer strategic input and help execute growth plans, mergers or acquisitions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics and emerging technologies.
• Lead small teams to deliver project milestones.
• Build strong client relationships and be available for business travel to client sites.
• Cultivate an inclusive team culture and contribute to internal firm initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in strategy consulting, transaction advisory or corporate finance.
• Good command of English; Slovene is also required.
• Ability to handle complex, intense work and to learn quickly about unfamiliar topics.
• Effective communication and the ability to get along with the team personally.
• Preferred: global perspective, adaptability to ambiguity, leadership potential and a solid understanding of business across sectors.
