About the role
We are seeking an experienced and decisive Head of Logistics to lead the internal logistics and transport department of an international manufacturing company. The role combines operational management of warehouse, freight forwarding and cross‑departmental coordination, ensuring efficient and sustainable logistics processes.
Key responsibilities
- Department planning and overall management of logistics operations
- Work and shift organization, including shift‑work leadership
- Warehouse management and occupational health & safety oversight
- Freight forwarding and customs management
- Cross‑departmental coordination and collaboration
- Team development and skills training
Required profile
- Higher education (Level 6–7) in technical, economics or related field
- Active knowledge of English
- 3–5 years of managerial experience in logistics, transport or supply chain, including shift work and multi‑department coordination
- Strong leadership, communication and analytical abilities
Required skills
- Advanced MS Office proficiency
- Experience with SAP
- Familiarity with WMS/TMS systems (advantage)
