Business Development Manager – Slovenia

About the role

Crumbs is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to launch and scale its food‑saving platform in Slovenia. You will be the driving force behind market entry, partner acquisition and team building, turning surplus food into affordable meals while supporting a circular economy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a localized market strategy, select launch cities and adapt HQ plans for Slovenia.
• Pitch, negotiate and close deals with retailers, restaurant chains and other B2B partners to achieve revenue and activation targets.
• Recruit, coach and lead sales, partner‑success and marketing teams, establishing efficient processes.
• Represent Crumbs at events, in media and with regulators, building brand advocacy and key relationships.
• Gather partner and user feedback to inform product and tooling enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in a high‑growth startup, scale‑up or tech marketplace, leading cross‑functional teams.
• Proven track record in B2B/B2B2C sales, business development or general management.
• Strong understanding of unit economics, KPIs and data‑driven decision making.
• Fluency in Slovenian and English with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Passion for circular economy, social impact and the food sector.
