Social Media Coordinator and Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator and Strategist to join a fast‑paced, fully remote digital media team. You will manage daily content flow across major platforms, ensuring posts are timely, engaging, and aligned with brand standards while supporting overall social strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish daily content on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including breaking news, evergreen, and high‑performing recirculated posts.
• Collaborate with social and editorial teams to guarantee accurate, on‑time publishing.
• Adapt publishing plans quickly in response to breaking news, trends, and platform updates.
• Write concise, engaging captions that reflect brand voice.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve reach and engagement.
• Utilise scheduling, media library, and content management tools for tagging and organization.
• Identify opportunities to optimise publishing practices and audience interaction.
• Maintain flexible working hours for major events or urgent coverage.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple publishing tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent written communication and copy‑writing abilities.
• Quick learner of new software, scheduling platforms, and evolving social practices.
