Retail, Consumer & Digital Transformation Manager

About the role

PwC is expanding its Retail, Consumer & Digital Consulting practice across Southeast Europe. As a Transformation Manager you will partner with retail and consumer brands to design and deliver end‑to‑end business change, covering strategy, commercial operations and digital enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements on commercial strategy, AI, customer experience, e‑commerce, omnichannel, pricing, promotions, assortment, supply‑chain and operating‑model transformation.
• Drive projects from opportunity identification and diagnosis through roadmap creation, implementation, change adoption and benefits realisation.
• Develop proposals, business cases, statements of work and senior‑level presentations.
• Facilitate workshops, senior stakeholder discussions and translate complex challenges into actionable recommendations.
• Identify and prioritise digital, data and AI opportunities based on business value and feasibility.
• Manage project teams, workstreams, delivery quality, risks, timelines and client expectations.
• Build trusted relationships, uncover follow‑on opportunities and contribute to account growth.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, commercial excellence or comparable transformation roles.
• Strong background in retail, consumer goods, FMCG or e‑commerce sectors.
• Proven track record of leading complex transformation initiatives from diagnosis to implementation.
• Ability to build business cases linking initiatives to measurable revenue, margin, cost or operational outcomes.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Croatian or another SEE language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Southeast Europe as needed.
