Mechatronics Technician

About the role

The Mechatronics Technician will work on‑site in Kranj on a full‑time basis, supporting production and maintenance activities for VERIGA K F DOO. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical components of machines and automated systems while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical components of industrial machines and automation systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimise machine performance and implement improvements.
• Document work performed and adhere to safety standards and procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of mechanics, electronics and basic automation for integrated mechatronic systems.
• Experience with industrial machinery maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in a production environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of standard safety procedures and proper use of hand and power tools.
• Relevant vocational or technical education in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kranj and adapt to shift or flexible hours as required.
