Control Systems & IT System Supervisor

About the role

The Control Systems & IT System Supervisor is the on‑site linchpin that synchronises design, construction and commissioning of control systems, utilities and piping. You will lead multiple contractors, enforce safety procedures and ensure quality and compliance under a 3‑weeks‑on‑site, 1‑week‑home rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design phases and construction activities for control‑systems equipment.
• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient plant construction.
• Check quality of works against design specifications and European electrical norms.
• Enforce safe‑work procedures, resolve contractor issues and keep schedules on track.
• Facilitate communication between commissioning and construction teams and produce regular reports.
• Support plant start‑up and deliver complete as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Safety‑first, quality‑focused attitude with calm, solution‑oriented approach under pressure.
• Autonomous, organised and proactive, comfortable leading on‑site and collaborating across functions.
• Clear, confident communicator in English, able to build positive relationships and be assertive with stakeholders.
• Willingness to work a 3‑weeks‑on‑site, 1‑week‑home rotation, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting single‑line diagrams, E‑PLAN and functional descriptions.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Navisworks for drawing review.
• Knowledge of European electrical norms and electrical installation procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
