Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

MeetMinded is a fast‑growing startup that connects people through local meetups worldwide. As Chief Financial Officer, you will own the financial and operational backbone, building scalable systems that support rapid global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning models for growth decisions.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, close processes, cash‑flow monitoring, and runway visibility.
• Coordinate with accountants, tax advisors, and legal partners to ensure compliance.
• Provide financial support for international expansion and build scalable operational workflows.
• Improve internal processes, create structure, and ensure smooth financial and operational execution in a fast‑moving environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, consulting, operations or similar roles.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical abilities.
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Hands‑on and strategic mindset with strong ownership.
• Excellent communication skills in both Slovenian and English.
• Comfortable working hybrid from the Ljubljana office; startup experience is a plus.
